Guidelines:
The Trinity Arts Journal accepts work from all students at Trinity but students can submit no more than three pieces each year. Students can also include an optional artist statement. Be sure that submitted work is from the current school year.
Please note that a failure to follow these submission guidelines will result in your work not being considered for the journal. Feel free to email [email protected] with any questions!
All faculty submissions must adhere to the same guidelines written below.
Writing
-Students must submit writing by attaching a word document to an email. Please include your name in the email, but not on the actual word document.
-Students must categorize their art work as one of the following: Poetry, fiction, and nonfiction.
-Students must specify their name, the title of their work, and their graduation year.
-Students should submit work in Times New Roman with font size 12.
-There is a maximum of 2000 words.
-All emails should be addressed to [email protected]
Artwork
-Students must submit their artwork by taking a picture of a piece and attaching it to an email as a .jpg file.
-Students must categorize their art work as one of the following: Photography, 2D, 3D.
-Students must specify their name, the medium used, the title of their work, and their graduation year.
-All emails should be addressed to [email protected]
Film
- Students must submit their artwork by sending a link to a Youtube video to the Trinity Arts Journal email address.
- Students must make their Youtube video either unlisted or public.
- Students must specify their name, the title of their film, and their graduation year.
-All emails should be addressed to [email protected]
Music
- Students must submit their music by sending an audio file to the Trinity Arts Journal email address.
- Students must categorize their work as one of the following: Composition, Performance.
- Students must specify their name(s), the instrument(s) used, the title of their work, and their graduation year.
- All emails should be addressed to [email protected]
N.B. Musical submissions can be individual or collaborative endeavors. In collaborative endeavors, only one participants needs to submit the piece, but all names should be included.
The deadline for submissions is May 20, 2023.
